Job Description:

The primary role of the Injury Prevention/Ergonomics Consultant is to achieve the mission of Ergonomics Plus, Inc.   Our mission is to help companies and workers reduce ergonomic risk factors and enhance human capabilities in order to achieve maximum safe work performance.

The injury prevention specialist (IPS) will be responsible for assisting manufacturing facilities in preventing workplace musculoskeletal disorders. The IPS will use their skills to provide program design, personal interviews, injury assessments, one-on-one and group training, ergonomic job assessments, targeted exercise, and effective documentation. This is a part-time (20 hours per week) position with potential to become full-time.

Requirements:

NATA BOC certification required. Must be eligible for state AT licensure (if applicable). CSCS, business background, ergonomic evaluation, or other certifications a plus. Must have valid driver's license as travel to the client company is required. Must be comfortable with written and verbal communication. Must be accountable to perform the job to high standards, and want to work as a part of a team with other plant personnel.
